Baby Christening Card

Well the Christening I went to on the weekend was lovely. Baby Liam is the cutest little boy and he was very well behaved even when he was getting his head wet.
I can't show you photos of Liam but I can show you a few photos from the day.
This little church, St. Matthews Anglican Church was built over a 100 years ago and still gets used today for special events like this one.
It is beautiful polished timber inside with the hard wooden pews I remember from my own childhood days. It would only hold about 60 =70 people max. inside.

Now for the card.
I used a non SU stamp for this one. I don't have many baby type stamps. This little Tatty Teddy I actually got free with a Stamping Magazine I bought a few years back.

I have used Soft Sky and Silver foil card stock.

The little stars are from the retired Scentsational framelits set. I glittered the soft sky ones with dazzling diamonds.
The greeting is computer generated as I love the idea of including the baby's name and the date of the Christening on the front of the card. (an idea I got from Pinterest).

Speaking of not having any baby stamps... have you seen the January Best of Set?
Best of Brides and Babies! I was sick in January and not online so missed this one and have just seen it. Oh my goodness. This is a set I definitely will be getting in my next order.

AUS $25.95 clear.

The Best of Sets will be finishing soon (end of April) so make sure you go to the Stampin Up Store and check them all out. I think we have 10 now. One more to go.

Thanks for stopping by. Come back soon I have some more challenge cards I want to show you this week. Vx
