Music Retiform Card

Featuring: Sheet Music Background Stamp, Retiform Technique, Happy Birthday Thinlit, Timeless Textures Stamp Set.

Have you seen the Retiform Technique making its way around the card world lately?
I would venture to call it "Retro Retiform" as it is a technique I remember from years ago.

It is basically layering your stamp over your background piece using post it notes or paper to mask off as you go.
Sponging each piece to give it depth is good.

A vintage technique seemed to call for a vintage style card.

I decided to use my Sheet Music Background Stamp for this and stamped around the card using black ink. I sponged at each edge with soft suede ink.
I have used my sponge roller to add Crumbcake ink across the whole card.
Then using my Aqua painter I squeezed out droplets of water around.
I dried my cardstock with my heat gun and the water droplets create lighter areas over the piece.

I then used Soft Suede Ink and Timeless Textures Stamp Set to add ink spots, coffee marks and …

Daisy Delight Lever Card

Featuring: Daisy Delight Stamps, Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp, Label me Pretty stamp and punch, Delightful Daisy Designer Paper, Special Fold, Lever Card.

I love the idea of the Lever Card. But I am not always good at researching for instructions. LOL. So I just decided to design my own and it works so that works for me. hehe.
So this is my idea of a Lever Card.
As you can see I am still loving this Wisteria Wonder and Peekaboo Peach combo matched with the Delightful Daisy Designer Paper. So so pretty!

Slowly the card opens and you can see the front piece is moving.
And then you can see the inside as well.

I created a little box shape that sits inside the card.

Would you like the measurements?
Card: 13cm x 13cm Square cut out of card is 7cm x 7cm Smaller square to sit inside is 6.5cm x 6.5cm
Inside Box - 8cm x 26cm - score at 6cm, 12cm, 18cm, 24cm. you will have a flap of 2cm to fold around to make a box shape. Glue the box side with the flap to the right hand side of your card. Glue …

Fan Fold Card

Featuring: Fan Fold Card, Daisy Delight Stamp, Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper, Happy Birthday Thinlet.

(Whoops...sorry I'm a bit late posting this week. I thought I had posted already. )

I found this great Fan Fold Card idea on Lyssa Zwolanek's blog. It was a smaller version and attached to a piece of single card but I wanted it as a stand alone card, so changed it up using adapted measurements to suit my idea.

The Peekaboo Peach Cardstock teamed with Wisteria Wonder and the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper gives it a very pretty soft feminine touch.

A double Daisy, (one stamped in Wisteria Wonder and one just punched out in Peekaboo Peach with the Daisy Punch) and a Lace doily for the front piece adds beautifully to this theme.

Can you see how I tucked the belly band around the card and how the greeting acts as an anchor between the card front and the belly band with careful placing of my dimensional under the little greeting to allow room for it to do this.
