Number of Years vintage birthday

Did you all see my last post? About the Wedding? Well just four days before the big day it was the Bride's Birthday. So I made my lovely daughter-in-law to be this card. Actually she saw me caseing it from the catalogue.
Check out page 137!
She commented on the lovely card and colours as I was making it...
so later I added some extra special details to it and made this extra special vintage-inspired birthday card just for her!
Colours are Peekaboo Peach and Always Artichoke.

Number of Years Stamp Set for the flowers and words.
I also used:
Fruit Stand Designer Paper (I painted some clear Wink of Stella on the Peach vertical lines)
Papillion Potpourri stamps and butterfly punches.
Flourish Thinlets.
Duet Banner Punch.
Oval Framelits.

Just loved how this turned out and I am loving the Peekaboo Peach colour!!
While you are here I wanted to also show you a card I Cased from my good friend and fellow Stampin Up Demonstrator Carolyn. (I did ask her first). I admire her work so much and just ha…

Full of Fruit - Fruit Stand Designer Paper

Those who have been following along my blogposts would know that we have just celebrated another family wedding! And here is a photo for all of you from the event.
It was a rainy cold July day but that didn't dampen anyone's spirits and the whole wedding was beautiful in every way. (sigh).

Now for something completely different... Designer Paper!!!
I just loved the Fruit Stand Designer Paper p.173.  I have made two cards to show you using just the paper as I haven't purchased the stamp set yet. How easy is this!
Peekaboo Peach and Pear Pizzaz Card stock.  Just cut out your large Peach from the designer paper with circle punch or framelit.

Bow Builder Punch to make the little paper bow. Sentiment is from Grateful Bunch Stamp Set p.94
And how about these scrumptious strawberries!!
Using Flirty Flamingo and Watermelon Wonder Cardstock with some Gold Foil Card thrown in for good measure.

I cut out the strawberries by hand and popped them up onto the patterned paper for added dim…

Vertical Greetings more fun.

Well here I am again just a week before the family wedding so not much time to post. But wanted to show you a couple more fun projects with the lovely Vertical Greetings Stamp Set p.109.
The first card I want to show has been on here before but I accidentally deleted the post! Argh!!
So here it is again.
I started with a tag made with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch and added this to an Emerald Envy card base and a piece of Cajun Craze embossed with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder.
The Topiary tree is coloured with Stampin Write Markers. Real Red, Early Expresso and CajunCraze. And some lovely Gold Wink of Stella to highlight the flower pot and the ground.

I punched a slot through the entire card with a retired punch but you could also use a hole punch or similar. This way I was able to attach the Cucumber Crush Striped mini ribbon through the entire piece.

I also added a lovely flower from the Flourish thinlits. The thinlit is in Emerald Envy. I coloured the stem with Early Expresso ma…

Peachy Vertical Greetings.

Well that was fun! Not! If you have visited in the past week you would have seen a blog post here that is now completely disappeared! Grrrr. Blogger issues!

But Hey, I will grin and bear it just to bring you all another post about one of my new stamp sets
Vertical Greetings. p.109 of the new catalogue)

I just love this cute little set with it's great choice of sentiments and the topiary trees just waiting to be coloured with stampin write markers.

So I pulled out the new Emerald Envy and Peekaboo Peach cardstock and ink and went to work.

I coloured the pot and stems with Emerald Envy and the foliage with Peekaboo Peach markers.

Do you like the little grass bits on the sides done with just putting a post it note across the bottom and stamping. Nifty!

I also used some of the lovely Fruitstand Designer Paper.
Some Peach Enamel Shapes and diamantes to finish off with.

Such a quick and easy fun card to make.

Make sure you check out the Vertical Greetings Stamp set for yourself and I …
