The BIG CHEESE

Image
Father's Day seem to sneak up on me this year and it wasn't until the night before that I realised I didn't have a card yet!!

Thanks to a great card by Libby Fens I was able to whip up a Father's Day card in under 30 minutes!
Isn't this the cutest, coolest card!!

The mouse is made with the Fox Builder Punch and matching stamp Set Foxy Friends. Mouse ears are small circle punches. The tail is the curve from the Banner Builder punch.

I used Circle framelits and punches to randomly punch out circles plus one large one in the centre.
This piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock is the same size as the card front and just pops up on top with dimensionals.
To the Big Cheese was a computer generated greeting I came up with myself and printed on Whisper White Cardstock.

Yes it was Quick and Easy AND hubby's reaction was "I don't know how you keep coming up withsomething brilliant and different every time!" hehe.
(ssssshhhhh. Don't let on about the wonder…

Water colour wash technique Double Z fold card.

Hello Happy Stampers!
Today I have a great little technique to show you ...
Water colour Wash.
This great little technique can be used by those who aren't so keen on watercolouring.

What do you think about this little Sweet Sugarplum beauty?! Coordinated with the gorgeous Blooms and Bliss Designer Paper, Blushing Bride and Rich Razzleberry...
How could you go wrong with a combo like that!

The Blooms and Bliss Designer Paper made me think about looking out a window at a lovely garden. So out came my window frame from Hearth and Home thinlets and the butterfly thinlets.

The flowers were stamped in black with Staz On (you need to have a waterproof ink for this bit).
Then I coloured the flowers and leaves with my stampin write markers in Sweet Sugarplum, Mint Macaron and Rich Razzleberry.

And Now for the best bit.... I didn't get too fussy when colouring my picture.
I left bits of white here and there because I knew when I place my water colour wash on top it would dampen the pict…

Double Z Fold Fruit Stand Fun

Hello Happy Stampers!
Couldn't wait to show you this pretty Double Z Fold Card we made in class recently.
It uses the Delicious Fruit Stand Designer Paper. Can we all just say "Yummo!" haha.

Here it is open.  So pretty these colours.
Crumbcake, Peekaboo Peach, Flirty Flamingo, Whisper White and Old Olive.

Products: Flower shop stamps and punch and Papillion Potpourri stamps and matching butterfly punches. Flourish Thinlits and Butterfly thinlits.

Words are from Birthday Blossoms and Flower Patch.
This card was made using a 28cm length (scored in half at 14cm) x 10.5cm wide
Score the front piece in half again at 7cm.
That is your Z fold card.
Now to make the "double" Z - I cut another piece 4cm x 28cm and score at 7cm(valley) and 14cm (mountain).
The 7 cm piece gets attached to the back then bend and attach to the front 7cm fold as shown.

And just to show you how much I truly love this style and designer paper...
Here is a birthday card I made up for a friend usi…
