Christmas Pop of Petals

Featuring: Pop of Petals stamp set, Four petal flower punch, Hearts come Home stamp set, Stitched Label framelits, Christmas, Stampin Up

Is it ever too early to starting thinking of Christmas????
I got thinking about the Four petal flower punch and Pop of Petals stamp set and wondered if you could make a reasonable Poinsettia flower with it...

It didn't turn out too bad if I say so myself. LOL.

But of course I had to do something with I got out my new Stitched Label Framelits which I wanted to play with and used four of the 10 dies on the card.

The fancy white frame is a framelit,

The top perforated cross stitch white piece is a framelit,

the fancy stitched section is framelit.
and the little heart is another framelit.

And all together it was a lot of creative fun.

Thanks for stopping by. Catch you again next Wednesday. Vx.

Pop Of Petals Perfection

Featuring: Pop of Petals, Four Petal Flower Punch, Special Fold, 50th, Birthday, Technique, Stampin Up. Front Pop Up Panel Card

I saw demo Ruth Trice do a One Sheet Wonder using these colours and this stamp set and I just loved it.
So using her colour combo I created this Pop Up Panel Card for a special 50th Birthday Girl.

The colours for the stamping were Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Blushing Bride, Soft Seafoam and Pineapple Punch.

The Pop up Panel Card  is an easy but really impressive looking card to make.

Essentially two pieces for the front.
I did create a little card at the back as well which also doubles as a stand.

Create your base first (Soft Seafoam)
Decorate the back panel.
Then add your Pop Up Panel (Gorgeous Grape)
Decorate front panel.
and finally add your card at the back.

Measurements for you:

Card Base (Soft Seafoam) - 10.5 cm x 29.5cm
Score at 15cm, 18cm, 25cm, 28cm

Front Pop Up Panel (Gorgeous Grape) - 8cm x 13.5cm
Score at 9cm, 12cm

Varied Vases Elegance

(Featuring: Varied Vases, Stitched Labels Framelits, Share What You Love designer paper,Vase builder punch, Stampin Up)

This elegant vintage style card began with the my desire to show off the beautiful Share What You Love dsp.
Here was my thought process as the card developed.
or more accurately "grew like topsy"! haha.

I thought it would be fun to use a bit of it as the vase.
Then I thought the vase would look better layered on some ovals.
Then I thought a frame would look even better.
And then I thought what about having it as an oval window so the picture is actually inside when you
open it. LOL.

This has to be one of my favourite sentiments... I think you will be seeing it a lot more.

HOPING YOUR DAY BLOOMS WITH HAPPINESS!!
Have a great week.

box loads of fun with Petal Promeade

Featuring: Exploding Box, mini Acetate box, Petal Promenade dsp, Share what you love dsp, technique, 3D, gift box, Stampin Up

I love exploding boxes. I originally saw a fellow demo Gail Ellis do one with Petal Promenade designer paper and I fell in love with it instantly.
SO ...I made one for myself using this lovely pink paper.
But then I thought what about a blue/green combo using the Share what you love designer paper.

and here they are....

Also love the new Polka dot Tulle ribbon and pearlised doilies.
the flower on top of this one was easy. Just cut out some flowers from the designer paper.
The flower on the pink box...I hand made using the new Four-petal flower punch. Punched numerous times. Scrunched up and dampened a bit with water spray. Dried with heat gun and sponged with some Blushing Bride ink.
Inside I showcased the paper and used one of our mini acetate boxes as a little gift holder in the centre.
This one has rose scented candle tea lights...can you just smell them…

Springtime Impressions when it is Winter here.

Featuring: Springtime Impressions thinlits, Petal Pair Embossing folder, Stampin Up, Sponge Dauber colouring.

Well it may be the middle of Winter here but this card is certainly reminding me of Springtime.

I purchased the Springtime Impressions Thinlits because I could see they had so many possibilities. And best of all they are stand alone pieces. Meaning they can just be stuck onto a card and shine all by themselves.

Here is the floral piece cut in plain white cardstock on Mint Macaron.
Too Easy!

But then if you want to do a bit of colouring...I just used Sponge Daubers.
Colours used:

Lovely Lipstick, Granny Green Apple, Shaded Spruce, Balmy Blue, Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather.

The card has a diagonal front and the butterfly sits on the inside with the wing holding the front piece shut until you lift it up.

I embossed the white cardstock on the front of the card and the Gorgeous Grape on the inside with the Petal Pair Embossing…

All The Good Things Double Z Fold Card

Featuring: All the Good Things, Share What You Love dsp, Double Z Fold, Stampin Up, Distinktive Stamps

It all started with the paper LOL......
I was playing around with the Share What You Love designer paper and decided I wanted a deeper background colour on this piece. Because the Flowers are pearlised they will resist the ink. I used Lovely Lipstick which is such a gorgeous red/pink.

The paper and colour reminded me of the beautiful floral Asian silks so I just had to pull out my new All The Good Things Stamp Set.
This set is a Distinktive Stamp Set exclusive to Stampin Up (it creates different opacities in a single stamped image giving realistic depth and intensity)

I couldn't resist using the new pearlised doilies for the front panel as well.

I also used my Stamparatus to re ink several times and also use my stampin write pens to highlight certain areas of each image. That is how I got the multiple colours on the images.
I used some rich colours on my card.
Lovely Lipstck, R…

Have you heard of the Pop Up Accordion Card? or Pop Up Concertina Card?
I really don't know what the correct name could be called either. LOL.

It is a square card with 4 concertina pieces that pop up when pulled by the ribbon attached in the centre.

I have done a bit of a photo tutorial for you. It is quite long and I haven't photographed every single thing so I hope you can still follow it.
