Totally Starwars! Surprise Exploding Box.
(featuring: Star Wars, Punch Art, Special Birthday, Exploding Box, Gift card holder, 3D box, Spirited Snowmen, Peaceful Poinsettia, Glimmer card technique)
Ho Ho Ho!!
Double fun today!
We had a special 60th Birthday Fancy Dress Party the other weekend and our gift was a gift card so how to wrap it???
Well I went all out for the birthday boy turning 60 as I know he is a huge Star Wars fan.
Using Pinterest I was able to get some great ideas for Punch Art.
I made sure Yoda was front and centre.
There were punch art light sabers on the other sides. You untie the bow on top and the box sides fall open.
Here is me as Jane Jetson with Hubby George of course. hehe.
I bought the dress from a second hand shop for only A$5.50! Added the material collar and some plastic tube to the skirt hem. Purple stocking and the styled hairdo and George of course completed the outfit. Such fun!
TA DA!
Punch art droid
Gift Card pocket
Punch Art R2D2
Pocket on other side for a greeting.
And NOW FOR SOMETHING ENTIRELY DIFFERENT! haha.
Because we are on the countdown to Christmas now- less than two weeks to go.
(hope you have started your Christmas shopping lol.)
Thought you might like to see a very special Christmas Card.
This one is done using Spirited Snowmen and Peaceful Poinsettia stamps.
You stamp with Staz On onto a window sheet (clear acetate sheet) Colour with Stampin Blends (on the back of the image) then mount it with glue dots onto some silver or dazzling diamonds glimmer card.
Look how glittery that poinsettia flower is! Wow! Stunning!!
The snowmen are sparkly too. I had to use dazzling diamonds for them (for the snow) but it gives a more subtle shimmer than the silver.
Thanks for stopping by.
See you all next week. Vx

I also got some ideas for the words too which I just typed out and printed off for the front of the box.
I used Stampin Up current and retired punches and some non SU patterned paper for the box. There were punch art light sabers on the other sides. You untie the bow on top and the box sides fall open.
