A bunch of flowers for you.

Hello Happy Stampers,
I am now back from my lovely holidays at the beach and waiting impatiently for some new products from the All Occasions Catalogue and Saleabration!
So what to do while I sit here twiddling my thumbs???

Use up some leftovers of course! and help make some room for the new stuff.

I have a friend who has been ill and wanted to make a card using some flowers I had punched out previously.

These were from Flowershop and Petite Petals in Melon Mambo and Tempting Turqoise.

So I wrapped a piece of pretty designer paper from Sweet Taffy into a cone shape.
And popped the flowers at the top of it.
At the bottom I stuck some pieces of 1/2 cm Gumball Green Card stock to look like the flower stems.

The "Bunch of Flowers" were stuck onto a piece of designer paper from the Stacked with Love paper stack in the New Occasions Catalogue. Melon Mambo Card stock was used for the main card.

A couple of Melon Mambo punched hearts, butterfly and ribbon and diamantes finished it …

summer holidays!

Well you may be wondering where I am at the moment?
On Summer Holidays. Following the Sun, Sand and Surf and having a lovely time.
But just for your enjoyment I have posted a photo of a card I made before we left.
It is in Wisteria Wonder and Blackberry Bliss.
I used the new Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Stack paper and the Love is Kindess single Stamp from the All Occasions Catalogue.

I stamped in black and embossed with embossing powder.

I wanted to make the tulips to have some dimension to them so I added my Crystal Effects to the flowers after I had coloured them. Then I sprinkled some dazzling diamonds over that for some sparkle.

The scalloped whisper white is from the circles framelits collection. I embossed with Lovely Lace EF and cut the circle to fit the designer paper edge.

The flower stamp was stamped onto whisper white and punched out with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.

And now some quick holiday snaps before I run off to the beach again!
See you in a week.

Hello Happy Stampers.

The new All Occasions Catalogue and Saleabration start on the 6th January!! Not long now!

Being a demonstrator has got some perks, like getting to preview the new catalogues early and I can tell you ... you are going to like this one! If you ever think you may be interested in being a Stampin Up Demo please don't hesitate to contact me. I will be happy to answer any of your questions and help you if I can.
I was really happy to see that the Occasions Catalogue really did have a bit of everything in it... to cover most of the Special Occasions we have during the year. Birthday, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, Valentines, Easter, Wedding and Baby.
It really is a good mix.
I already have a long wishlist and my first order is nearly ready to go.

However, I did pre-order just two items already, that I wanted to show you.
A cute single stamp from the new catalogue calledLove is Kindness.

Ornamental Pine

Hello everyone,
HAPPY NEW YEAR!! WELCOME TO 2015!!

Now I know that Christmas is done and dusted for another year but....
I decided that I would show you the card I made for my husband for Christmas.
It uses the the fantastic set Ornamental Pine from the Holiday Mini which is about to retire any day now!!!

At this time of the year I also use some of my non-su stamps that I had bought prior to joining Stampin Up.

I do love Stampin Up Stamps and use them almost exclusively but at Christmas after I have done so many Christmas cards with Stampin Up Products I like to break out and see what else is lying at the bottom of the cupboard.
And that is where I found this reindeer stamp and the On Dasher On Dancer word stamp!
I immediately knew I had to combine them with the Ornamental Pine.

I used Cherry Cobbler card stock for my base and a piece of retired su dsp for a border. The pine needles are stamped in Mossy Meadow and the pinecone is embossed with gold embossing powder.

I sponged around th…
