Another Spring inspired card.
You may remember a couple of days ago I did a Spring Inspired Card Challenge for Simply Less Is More. Well while I was finishing off that card I had another idea pop into my head and today I decided I would have time to try it out.
The Paper Players also have a Spring inspired Challenge which finishes today so I thought I would use this for their "Thankful for Spring" Thank you card.
Do you think this reminds you of Spring?
I stayed with the yellow and green theme using Daffodil Yellow, Pistachio Pudding, Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Whisper White and Crumbcake card stock.
The fence is created with the lovely Hardwood Background stamp in the All Occasions Catalogue that you all know by now that I Love! I just stamped in Early Expresso onto the crumb cake and cut out the wood panels.
Do you like my groovy colour panels at the bottom. Crushed Curry, Pistachio Pudding layered onto the Daffodil Yellow main card stock. All corner rounded with the Envelope Punch Board.
I used my handy dandy Colour Coach p. 139 to match the colours. Did you know Daffodil Yellow and Crushed Curry went together?
I just have to show you my mistake. See if you can spot it. This was my first photos of my card.
I will give you a hint. Look at the top little flower. Now can you see it? I have accidentally used a Gumball Green centre instead of Old Olive! Ugh! You will if you click on the photo and enlarge it!
Try as I might I could not ignore it. So I pulled it off, replaced it and took more photos.
Ahhh. Doesn't that look better! LOL!
