An Extra Special Birthday Card for Time Travellers.
Today I have a special card I made for a lovely young friend who is a Timeless Dr. Who Fan (just like me!)
This special young lady is an excellent paper crafter and so an ordinary card was simply out of the question.

Just like Dr. Who's Tardis. This card has surprises waiting inside. A card within a card?!
If you open the Tardis front you find inside....
TaDa! A cute little minion with party balloons! hehe.
Minion is made from the Owl Builder Punch.
Party Balloons and hat from Sketched Birthday Stamp set.
I made the greeting on the bottom with my computer.
Happy Birthday is from Bring on the Cake Stamp Set. (I coloured it in with markers in various blues and yellows.)

Hope you have a good weekend. It has been raining non-stop here and is supposed to be set in for the weekend according to the weatherman. I just love the rain - as long as I don't have to go anywhere.

Here is a side view. I just made a little strip of card and glued to card to attach the scallop circle.
The beams of light (in case you didn't know what they were. lol.). Are made with a piece of paper and
a sponge dauber with crushed curry ink. Just sponged along the edge of paper and move the paper in an arc across the card stock, a centimetre or so at a time.

Oh, Vicki, I love it!! You did a great job! Your friend is going to be so impressed :) It is so clever! I know what you mean about the rain but wasn't today hot? I was out in it from 8am to 2 or 3pm (counting pack-up time) as I ran a booth at a Craft Fair today in D Bay at a friend's place. I am kind of looking forward to more rain so it will cool down again. Sorry I have been MIA lately - had a few health issues plus was organising things for my Craft stall, but I am back now!
