No Cut Christmas Gift Card Holder.
Christmas Greetings to Everyone today!
My last post before Christmas and I wanted to show you this amazing No Cut Folder by Australian Stampin Up Demonstrator Di Barnes and tweaked by American Stampin Up Demonstrator Patty Bennett.
I will have links for you at the bottom.
It is made from one sheet of 12 x 12 designer paper. No gluing or cutting - just scoring and folding!
Remember too that you can always click on the photos if you want to enlarge them to get a closer look.
Here is the first one I did using Home for Christmas DSP and a Punch art Santa on the front.
You score at 2 , 6, 10 inches
then turn the paper and score at 2 1/2 and 8 1/4 inches
Make sure you check out the links below to see how to fold.
And here is the inside. I made a greeting card to go under one flap and on the other side is where you put your Gift Card (I didn't have one at the time so just made a pretend one so you can see where it goes.)
Here is a close up of the Santa.
Two large scallop circles for his beard.
Place an extra large oval in pink pirouette on top for face.
Scallop circle for hair on face.
Extra large oval punch in real red for hat.
Mustache framelit for mustache.
Small circle for nose and pompom.
I then made another no cut Folder used Merry Moments 12 x 12 dsp but this time I used Patty Bennetts measurements to create a wider spine in the middle.
This allowed me to place inside - 2 Christmas notecards and envelopes and on the other side I place 3 gift tags.
The difference in the scoring is
Score 2" , 5 3/4" , 6 1/4 " and 10 "
Then turn and score at 2 1/2 and 8 1/4 "
Now you don't have to be limited to gift cards and tags with this folder either.
If you start thinking you will be surprised how many different ideas you can come up with.
Tea bags/ Small single package cadbury biscuits/ freddos/ Scratch-its / small notepads.
I bet you can think of lots more!!!
And as promised here are the links for you. Click HERE FOR DI BARNES. She has a file you can download.
And Click HERE FOR PATTY BENNETT This is a youtube video on how to get the wider spine.
A VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS FROM ME TO YOU!

ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by my blog :) Hope you had a good Christmas and New Year. I like the little folders. I found both sets of instructions in December too and made a couple of them. I LOVE the way you made your Santa! Very cute. I hope 2016 is treating you well :)
