Circle Card Framelit GOAL!

Hello Happy Stampers.
I have been playing a little Soccer with my Circle Card Framelit.
Come and have a look at what I made for my Soccer mad 13 year old nephew.

I made the card in Green and Yellow for the Socceroos colours.
I used retired Gumball Green card stock and Daffodil Yellow.
The strip of yellow in the centre is actually on the inside of the card. I will show you that in a minute.
But first the outside. I used the Hexagon Hive Framelit and the All Abloom dsp as a background on my card.
The soccer ball is whisper white card stock cut with the 2 1/2 inch circle punch. I had run the piece of card stock through the Bigshot with the Honeycomb embossing folder before I punched the circle shape. That way I was able to centre the hexagons in the circle. I then ran a piece of black card stock through with the Honeycomb EF and cut out some of the black hexagons. These I stuck onto my circle as shown above.
The Wish Big hand is from a retired SU Birthday set.
The arrow was made using the three small black arrow shapes from the Circle Card Framelit. I layered these on top of a white piece and black piece of card stock that I cut out in arrow shapes.
Daffodil Yellow Candy Dots were placed on top of the arrows for added effect.
Here is the inside. Once again I have extended my card to create the extra fold at the end.

Score the end of your card piece you are cutting out at 5cm. Fold this under and place the Circle Card Framelit on top - just beyond your fold - so it doesn't cut into that part of your card stock.

A card fit for any Soccer Enthusiast I think!
Happy Birthday Jakob!

I know he will have a great birthday as his team won the grand final on Sunday and they also won the Premiership title for the year. We were there to see all the action and cheer them on to victory.

Have a great day everyone and I will see you later in the week with a special fold birthday card. Vx

  1. Brilliant! It's a very sporty card that I am sure will make its recipient very happy! You are very clever making a soccer ball like that, Vicki. I love the green you used as background. Reminds me of a soccer field, as I am sure you intended.

PS: I am introducing two new crafters for the Creative Blog Hop today on my blog, by the way :)

    1. Such a great card for a soccer fan Vicki! Love the way you created the ball with the Hexagon EF and the chevron arrow to go with the big hand! And love the extension too. I must get this circle card - I have the Label but am sure would use this more :-)
