Retro Happy

I love this saying "You make me Happy when skies are gray". It is part of the Saleabration set "See ya later Alligator" and you can get the set for free until the end of March with any purchase of $90Aus. worth of products from our catalogues. Just let me know if you are interested.

This card I made is for my hubby"Awwwww" I hear you say. I must be getting sentimental cause he is away visiting his family in New Zealand at the moment.
When you make male cards it can be hard because there is so much you can't do to the card.

I went with a retro style and used a favourite technique. Embedding the circles into the white card stock with the Lattice Embossing Folder.

Okay so I couldn't resist one little bit of "bling" in the centre of the heart! But really it just jumped on there when I wasn't looking! hehe.
And here it is in all it's Retro glory. You could give this to a male or female really except I would probably make the base card Daffodil Yellow for a female friend. Yellow is such a "Happy" colour don't you think?

I have used several different size circle punches.
See ya later Alligator Stamp Set
Lattice Embossing Folder
Daffodil Yellow, Basic Black and Whisper White card stock.
Small heart punch.

I thought I would enter this card into two challenges this week.
Papercraftcrew Sketch Challenge

and Simplylessismore "masculine" card challenge.

Thank you for stopping by. Love having you visit. Come back again soon.
