Happy travels.

I had a terrible night last night. Just couldn't sleep. So what else was there to do but get up and do a card challenge! LOL! (yawn).

Over at the Male Room, the challenge is to make a Masculine Retirement Card.
I pulled out my World Map Background Stamp and went to work.

I also used stamps from You're Amazing, Postage Due, Teeny Tiny Sentiments."way to go" is from a retired SU set.

I liked the film framelits from the On Film Framelits set in the All Occasions Catalogue and also added a bit of metallic "bling" with small silver brads and an essential hardware clip.

Cardstock: Bermuda Bay, Brown Sugar, Soft Sky, Smoky Slate and black.
Ink: black
Punch: Ticket Punch, Postage Stamp

All in all, I think this card could be used for any occasion. Just change the sentiment: Best Wishes, Congratulations, Happy Birthday. It would work well with any of these.

Hope you have a good weekend. I'm hoping for a better nights sleep myself.
Thanks for stopping by. I love hearing from you.

If you want to join in the Male Room Challenge is still going. Why not pop over and check it out.
Vx

Have a look at the Golden Garden Designer Specialty Acetate!!! This acetate goes over some of the designs on paper. So you can achieve the 'touch of gold' in record time! I LOVE IT! Bird Ballad Double Point Card

Featuring: Free as a Bird Stamp Set, Bird Ballad designer paper, Stitched Nested Label dies, Double Point Card, Special Fold, Stampin Up Happy Wednesday Wonders, Have you ever seen a Double Point Card before? I hadn't until I saw one from Jackie Bultje. I loved the idea of using up and showing off some of gorgeous designer paper so away I went. Used the Bird Ballad Suite for my card. I stamped the birds and did just a little watercolouring with  our water colour pencils and aquapainter. The little flowers on the end of the branch are cut from the designer paper. Greetings are from Butterfly Wishes Stamp set. In the photo below you can see the two points of the designer paper (hence the name Double Point Card). This flap lifts up to reveal another message underneath. Surprise! But wait - There is More!! Yes lift up the card and see the greeting inside and where you can also write your own message.  Ta Da!!
