In the Pink! A very "girly" card.

I had a card to make for a lovely friend. She loves PINK, vintage, shabby chic. If she were a flower she would be a rose - all beautiful and sweet. It seemed like a fairly simple task really as I already know a lot of things she likes. So with that in mind I set about attempting to translate this into my card design.
I thought I would use the card sketch from Just Add Inks Challenge for this week.

Well.....after much, stamping, cutting, embossing, trying this and that...
I finally came up with a card!
Base: Melon Mambo
Gingham Garden dsp
lace doily
Pistachio Pudding strip embossed with Delicate Designs emboss folder.

It is very frilly, flowery and pink! With plenty of bling.

I embossed the Apothecary Art Stamp in black and coloured in the roses with Melon Mambo and Old Olive then sponged around the edges with Pistachio Pudding. Cut it out with the matching Labels Collection Framelit.
The banner part in the middle was stamped on Gingham Garden dsp in black and then cut out and stuck on.
I used a label Chalk Talk Stamp and matching framelit and placed the Hello Lovely from the Hello Lovely Stamp Set in the centre.  Cut out with the 1 1/4 inch circle punch. I stamped both of these in Melon Mambo.

The "sweet friend" stamp is actually the bottom half of a stamp from the Hexagon Stamp Set that says "hello sweet friend". I just stamped it several times and cut it off below the "hello".
The three random diamantes at the top are covering a black ink mark that appeared literally as I finished the card!! sigh...!

So there it is a very Pink and girly card.

And here is my desk! I think I was working in a 6 inch space by the end of it! LOL!

Thanks for stopping by. Come back again soon. Vx

  6. lol. Great card and this is pretty much how my desk/room looks like when I finished a project. Then I have to clean up before I can start another one and find anything. Why is why I have not done much lately... So great to see you posting. Have a good day!.
