Pink 50

Another day another birthday! LOL! Well it seems like that sometimes doesn't it?

Today I have a card to show you that I made for a friend's 50th birthday. She is a "pink" girl, so out came my Pretty in Pink card stock.

Then what to add to it???Hmmm... let's see... what do you think of this?

I embossed a piece of whisper white card stock with the Chevron Embossing Folder then cut a circle out of the middle with my circle framelits. Before I placed it on my Pretty In Pink Cardstock, I added a White Lattice die cut behind the circle.

I went with a soft colour scheme for my flowers and leaves.
Flower Shop stamp set and punch in Crisp Cantaloupe
Petite Petals Stamp set and punch in Crisp Cantaloupe
Secret Garden leaf framelit in Pistachio Pudding
Secret Garden small flower stamp and framelit in Pink Pirouette.

The greeting is from Label Love stamp set using the Artisan Label Punch.

I felt a bit of gold was in order for such a special birthday so I used the Gold Foil Sheet from the All Occasions Mini Catalogue, with the Beautiful Wings Embosslits for my butterfly.

I hope she has a wonderful birthday. 50 is pretty special.
I love using the Lattice die whether it is layered behind or used as a focal point it always looks good.
Have a great day and come again soon. Love having you drop by and reading your comments.
