Going Green - 2 for the price of one!

This week I decided to combine the Just Add Ink Challenge
"Just Add Green"
and
 the Papercraft Crew Challenge
 PCCCS033-Sketch
into one card. That's a double whammy Challenge!!hehe!
Come and see what I came up with.
For the background I stamped on whisper white using the Flowering Flourishes Stamp Set from the main Catalogue. Have you seen this stamp set? It has three lovely flourishes which can be used for background, main image etc. They also look great embellished with paper flowers, brads, diamantes or pearls.
 Flowering Flourishes Clear-Mount Stamp Set

I used the leaf and flower from the Secret Garden Stamp Set and matching framelits.p.17

The little butterfly is a stamp from Papillon Potpourri p.115 Main Catalogue and is punched out using the little butterfly punch from the New Mini p.13.

Plenty of greens used to meet the Just Add Ink Challenge. Lucky Limeade, Certain Celery and Always Artichoke.

See the little scallops on the edge? They are made with the 7/8" Scallop Circle Punch in the New Mini. p.16.
I just cut the circle in half and glued it along the side.
This card is going to a friend ... just because.

Please check out the Challenges and join in if you like. You can vote for my card on Papercraft Crew Challenge from Tuesday 19th 11.59pm to Friday 22nd 11.59pm.

  4. Hi Vicki,
So if I could write a romance novel...... LOL I am just happy after losing my love, my brother and my Mom in the last two years that I have someone to be by me to go through these things. He is a tall dark and handsome clean cut guy that is a very hard worker and that is just what I am looking for. Thanks for your comment on my blog. I tried to email you but it came back as failure.???? Anyway thanks again and happy stamping. Your card is pretty too and I love your Oh, Hello cards too. Hugs, Bev

  5. Vicki I love the green tones you've used, and the background paper you've made. Thanks for the tip to make the border out of circles, I'd never had thought of doing that.
