Double Easel Card
In class recently we made a cool double easel card.
I used the Oval Framelits which gave me plenty of different sizes to play with.
I have gone with a vintage feel to this card.
It is easy to do with stamp sets
Postage Due
Artistic Etchings
and Everything Eleanor.
Here it is open.
I used the Saleabration set Vintage Verses for the sentiment which tied in nicely with my theme.
A bit of cutting and layering I kept mainly with the colours wisteria wonder, black and white but added a punch of raspberry ripple to one of the flowers to bring some drama into my piece.
I was very pleased with the effect.
A sprinkle of dazzling diamonds finished it off nicely.
And while I am on the vintage theme...
Do you remember I was going to a 50's birthday party?
Like to see a few photos?
Here's me with the little black jacket on. I changed my outfit slightly from what I planned but I was still happy with it. Do you think I look a little Jackie Onassis in this pose? hehe.
Here's me without the jacket. Did you see I found some gloves too? I was very excited to find them in a drawer as they were a perfect 50's accessory!
At the party there was plenty of 1950's food too.
Hors d'oeuvre anyone???? (I had to look that word up in the dictionary by the way, I'm not that clever!)
And no the cigarettes weren't real! They were bought in with the ashtrays for "the look".
Hope you got a laugh from these photos as much as we did.
Come back again soon.

Your outfit turned out lovely Vicki, very Jackie O looking, and such a cute couple in the car, too. Love the card.
