Dainty Flowers Pocket card

Featuring: Dainty Flowers Saleabration designer paper, Dainty Delight stamp, Dainty Delight dies, Special Fold, Bookmark card, Saleabration 2023, Stampin Up

HAPPY WEDNESDAY WONDERS!!!

How bad am I???
I missed last Wednesday entirely!! Sorry about that.
To make up for it I have a lovely little Special Fold card today.
This one is has little pockets inside to add a little gift or gift card.
I have added a teabag and bookmark. Because a nice cup of tea and a good book! What a perfect combination. lol.

I have used Saleabration designer paper Dainty Flowers plus the matching stamp and dies from the Occasion Mini.
The greeting on the front of the card is from Graces Garden (retired).

Inside there are two pockets. I have only sealed the outside edge of each pocket. But you can always add tape adhesive to both sides if you like.

Measurements for my Pocket Card

21cm x 21cm.
Score at 15cm
Turn and
Score at 10.5cm (for the centre fold) top to bottom.
Score to 15cm score line - 9.5cm and 11.5cm (Cut the area out between these two score lines to the 15cm scoreline)
Now you have the two pockets which are one centimetre out from the middle fold, on each side.
Decorate the inside.
Use adhesive tape on the outside edges of each pocket and bring them up to adhere to your card.
Now you have two pockets!
You can decorate the front of the pockets however you prefer. I chose to add whisper white card 5.5cm x 9cm with a flower stamp and greeting on one side and just a stamp on the right side to leave room to write a message.

The bookmark.
I used a 4.5cm x 14cm piece of blushing bride card
A 4.1cm x 13.6cm piece of Starry Sky
Then the designer paper 3.6cm x 13.1cm
Then I placed a piece of acetate the size of the designer paper on top.
I used our Multipurpose liquid glue on the bottom of the acetate, between the acetate and the designer paper. (just a very small amount goes a long way as it squishes outwards under the acetate. Place it about half to one centimetre from the bottom and not near the sides). It dries clear and holds the acetate in place to stop it moving around. Punch a hole at the top and thread ribbon through. Add a tassel if you want.

Use a piece of coordinating paper or cardstock on the back. Approx. 14.5cm x 4cm. This holds the ribbon in place.

On the front. The ribbon is under the layers. I actually tied the ribbon around the card first. Then added my layers and the piece on the back.

Cut out the patterned oval with an oval die. Then added die cuts from Dainty Flowers. The flowers were cut in white and then coloured with Blend pens. Vine is Mossy Meadow.

Hope you enjoyed this card. Remember Saleabration finishes 28th February.
