Lets Set Sail Vellum card

Featuring: Lets Set Sail stamp set, Sail boat builder Punch, Layering Decorative Vellum, Scene building technique, Occasions Mini 2022, Stampin Up

HAPPY WEDNESDAY WONDERS!!!

I had an idea...and I have to admit I wasn't sure about it until I finished it. But I really love how it turned out.
I used the Sailboat builder punch to punch the boat out of the Layering Decorative Vellum. Then I coloured the back with red ink on a sponge dauber.
The sun/moon was cut with 1" circle punch and Mango Medley ink.
Waves are alternatively torn strips of printed vellum (coloured with Pacific Point and Night of Navy)
and strips of white card.
I layered the whole piece onto a 9cm x 13.5cm piece of white then used Night of Navy 14cmx9.5cm as a narrow mat and placed onto a whisper white card base 10.5cmx15cm.
Birds and greeting: Lets Set Sail stamps
Balmy Blue sky: Oceanfront stamp set

I did add a tiny bit of glitter around the sun and on the white waves. (you know me and glitter...I just have to have a bit of sparkle!lol.)
Inside stamps from the Lets set Sail stamp set . Sun is just a sponge dauber spot of Mango medley.
I like to add the greeting inside in a slightly different place than the expected "centre", sometimes.

I do love this card, it was fun to do. I love creating scenes. (and not in the "dramatic"sense! haha!)
Maybe you will try one too.

Have a great week. Vx
Late afternoon, nothing better than afternoon tea at the local beach front. The tide is out but it is very relaxing.
