Penguin Place Modern

Penguin Place stamp set, Penguin Builder Punch, Christmas Tree dies, Watercolour, Tasteful Texture Emboss Folder, Christmas 2021, Stampin Up

HAPPY WEDNESDAY WONDERS!!!!

I liked the modern colours from last week so decided to stay with the them.

This time I created a little watercolour background by placing ink refils onto an acrylic block then spritzing lightly with water (or add a few drops of water from your aquapainter)and stamping onto my cardstock. (highly recommend using watercolour card for this but you can try it with Whisper white). Lightly spritz your cardstock too.

Once dry I ran it through my Tasteful Texture Embossing Folder to help flatten it.

                                  

The background snowflakes and ground are stamped in Bermuda Bay.

I stamped the little penguin and used my Penguin Builder punch to cut out.  The scarf, hat and presents were all stamped and fussy cut.

I added some trees from Christmas Tree dies - Magenta Madness, Highland Heather, Bermuda Bay and Silver foil

And a strip of White glitter organdy ribbon at the bottom.

Such a cute little festive penguin!

Lots of Native Hibiscus blooming in the bush at the moment. The bees and ants love them. lol.
