Trimming the Town House card

Featuring: Trimming the Town dsp, Coming Home stamps, Christmas 2020, Pine Wood dies, Stampin'Up

HAPPY WEDNESDAY WONDERS!

and today we are 'trimming the town'. With the Trimming the Town designer Series paper.

I just loved this card design by Gaynor Boyce - Stamp with joy.
and thought it was a great idea creating a little house shaped card.
I have used a Night of Navy Cardstock base.

The background paper, houses and small tree on the card all come from the Trimming the Town dsp.

On the inside so you can see how it folds in on itself in the corners.
These are created by scoring diagonally 4cm along the top edge and down to 4cm on the sides.
These are mountain folds while the middle card fold is a valley fold.

I did add a tree from In the Pines dies and some pretty adhesive backed snowflakes.
The card was stamped from the Coming Home stamp set and coloured with a Poppy Parade marker.

Hope you enjoyed this card. Have a great week. Vx

Another treat on our two weeks away was seeing platypus at Broken River, Eungella National Park.
Believe me you have to be very very quiet and they just pop up for a short moment before disappearing again. So you have to be super quick as well.

This is what you are looking for...little ripples and bubbles and movement on the water.

And then suddenly there it is!
