A Rose by any other name

Featuring : Rose Wonder, 3D Bag, Easel card.

Well hello, again.
I have a couple of ways to use some of that lovely designer paper stash we all hoard.
And with only a day to go before the end of 2017-2018 Catalogue and the Occasions Catalogue,
I thought this Easel Card would be a good card to finish the catalogues on.
Rose Wonder Stamp set is retiring, as is, the lovely Painted with Love Specialty Designer Paper.

I stamped the rose and leaves twice.
Once on the designer paper in white craft ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
Then I cut out just the Rose.
I stamped again on plain whisper white card in gold ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. This time I just cut out the leaves.

I arranged them together onto the front of my centre piece.
I used one of the Petal Pair Embossing Folders from the Occasions Catalogue which is fortunately being carried over to the new 2018-2019 Catalogue. yay!

I had a bit of this lovely designer paper left over and decided to make a gift bag to go with the card.
Do you like my concertina sides?

for the bag I used a 30cm x 13cm piece of designer paper. Scored at 13cm and 17cm.
I scored  2 pieces of whisper white(12cm x 10cm) at 1cm intervals vertically along the 10cm length.
Then attached to the inside of bag with Tear and Tape.

I think it turned out rather well, don't you?
The birthday recipient was certainly very pleased. :)
