Dragonfly Dreams meets Painted with Love

Featuring: Dragonfly dreams stamp set, Detailed Dragonfly thinlets, Painted with Love designer paper, Special Folds, Technique Cards, Calendar Card, Stampin Up, Cardsonthetablewithvicki

It isn't too late to make calendar cards is it?????
Well it is only February...we do have 10 more months to go so I think it is still acceptable. hehe.

And I just couldn't resist making this with the new Painted with Love specialty designer paper from the Occasions catalogue 2018.
I was inspired to use my Dragonfly Dreams stamp set and thinlets from demonstrator Gail Ellis.
I am really bad at neglecting my stamps when something new appears so it is really good to mix it up using things from all the current catalogues.

The flowers are from the Petal Palette set and the words from Waterfront (both in the Occasions 2018 catalogue.
This little calendar card is just so quick and easy to put together.
I
have a normal black card base and just added a piece to the bottom.
10.5cm x 8cm. scored at 2, 4, 6. Folds Mountain, Valley, Mountain.
Glued the end folds to the outside edges of the card.

And what about a cute card to go with it?
This one has an acetate piece in the middle to give the illusion of the dragonfly suspended between the two pieces.

Base card is Melon Mambo. Words are from Happy Birthday Gorgeous.
Very easy and effective. And not much stamping on this one.

And finally one more. Cause the Painted with Love designer paper really is beautiful.

Petals and more thinlets for the little Melon Mambo stems. A Good Day Stamp set for the greeting and the new Scallop Circle Punch 1 3/8"

And inside a bit more of A Good Day Greetings set and some more thinlets from Petals and More thinlets.

With this one the inside card is 21cm x 14.5cm and you score it in the middle 10.5cm (mountain fold) and then either side 2cm (valley folds)
Glue one side down at a time. Allowing a small border about half a centimetre as shown.
I glue one side. Then I fold it down with it creased and glue the other side. (hope that makes sense)

And of course a group photo of the smart little trio of cards. Smile everyone :)

Have a great day! And I will be back next Wednesday with some more to show and tell.
Thanks for stopping by. Vx
