Heartfelt Blooms 2018

Having a bit of fun with a very pretty Saleabration 2018 Stamp Set. Only available till March 31st. This stamp is a new concept call Disinktive stamps by Stampin Up.
(They have two others. The Baby Bear stamp p.110 main catalogue and the bunny stamp Sweet little Something in the Occasions catalogue p. 40.)
It has a photographic style to it, giving the stamped image more depth. When you look at the stamp it appears quite flat though and I certainly didn't believe I would get such a detailed image from it.
Was I wrong!! lol.
First card is stamped in Crumbcake and Flirty Flamingo ink.
Next up I tried Smoky Slate and Bermuda Bay together.
Very pretty. Do you like the glitter enamel dots? They remind me of opals with their sparkly colours.
Tip for stamping.
The trick to getting a good image with this kind of stamp is to make sure your ink pad isn't too inky. So before you start stamping, press down (massage) your ink into your ink pad with the back of a spoon or your bone folder (if you don't mind it getting stained).
Great stamp to work with and beautiful font for the words.
Speaking of flowers,,,,, the Poinciana tree is flowering. Looks glorious.
