Fresh Florals Gift box and Card in One

Featuring: (3D, gift box, card and box, Fresh Florals, Happy Birthday Gorgeous, Stampin Up)

Please note that this idea and inspiration came from Becky Roberts, Dani Dziama and April Segelke.
I originally saw some of these made by Dani and April and decided I would give them a go myself.
They were fun and quite easy to work out. I just made up my own measurements and decoration.
Basically a small gift box that would fit something like, jewellery, chocolates, sweets, craft products: ribbon, twine, lace, diamantes, buttons, washi tape etc. and they are presented sitting on their own card.

The box sits neatly into the top of the card.

The box measurements 5cm x 5cm.
Starting with a 15cm x 15cm piece of cardstock, score at 5cm and 10cm.
Box Lid is 12cm x 12cm scored at 3.4cm and 8.6cm.

I have decorated it with Fresh Florals designer paper and pink shimmer ribbon.

I placed a piece of whisper white card on the back of the card for writing on.

I designed the card like a Tunnel Card to help support the weight of the box.
Measurement: 14cm x 29.5cm cardstock.

Score at 10.5cm(Mountain fold), 21cm (mountain fold), 24.5cm(valley fold) and 28cm(mountain fold).
Attach final 1.5cm to the inside of card once you have cut out your top piece.
 Measurements for this below.

With card folded in half.
Using a pencil and ruler I marked in the top fold of your card, at 6.6cm and 12cm.
Then drew a line down from both of these marks 4.2cm.
Connect your two pencil lines and you have a rectangle to cut
out.

I made two of these in the new In Colours Fresh Fig, Powder Pink and Lemon Lime Twist with Tranquil Tide.
They have been decorated with Fresh Florals Designer Paper, Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamps, the beautiful Glitter Enamel Dots and the Bow Builder Punch, Natural Trim Ribbon and Pink Shimmer Ribbon.

I am not sure which I like the best.

And what do you think of my In Colour Cupcakes?! Gluten Free too... so everyone could have one.
Cute hey?

My lovely daughter in law made them for me. I can tell you now the Fresh Fig and Berry Burst were the hardest colours to try and match. lol. But I think we did a fairly good job.

And they tasted delicious.

And here is one I kept just for you. :)

Thanks for stopping by. Vxxx
