Trendy Bendi

Have you seen the Bendi Cards? They seem to be everywhere at the moment. A little like when the Card in the Box idea took off.
So of course I had to make one.
This one I found measurements for on Pinterest. There are heaps there or you can check out Youtube for a video tutorial.

I made this for a special friend and class lady using the Pretty Petals Paper Stack (just love that paper!).
And a line up of the "usual suspects" in my fancy folds cards -Flowershop and Petite Petals and Butterfly Thinlits.

These are the two flaps open
You tuck the first side in.
Then the other side in.
Here is a top view. I even raised the centre of the greeting up with dimensionals for a curved look.
Flowers and butterflies in Old Olive, Pacific Point and Calypso Coral, to match my Pretty Petals Designer Paper.

Now look what I found...or should I say...Rosie found...in the garden next to the garden shed.
What you can't see anything but a plant????

Take a closer look. A Blue Tongue Lizard trying to grab a bit of sun.

This one is the biggest I have seen. It's body was close to a 30 cm (10 inches) and very fat. I think there might be some baby blue tongues arriving any day now.

Have a good day. Thanks for stopping by. Vx

  1. So cool..... both your awesome card and your pics! WOW. You card looks like a bouquet of flowers. It's on my "to try" list and if I decide to be real lazy about it I even have an eCutter file to cut the card.....I know so what am I waiting for, right? Louise
