Festive Flurry Fun
I really have been enjoying the Festive Flurries bundle. The snowflake stamp set and framelits are just so easy to create with.
Come and see the class cards we did last week with this nifty set and the matching Winter Frost Specialty designer paper.
This card has a detachable snowflake ornament.
The ornament layers are:
1 silver embossed large snowflake
1 soft sky medium snowflake
1 silver glimmer card small snowflake
1 pool party embossed small snowflake.
Topped up with a frosted finish embellishment.
It is just held on with a dimensional over the top of another snowflake that remains on the card.
The other card was made using inspiration from Bronwyn Eastley who I saw make a card like this using the Butterfly Bigz Die.
The snowflake on the top of this single layer card is an easel card.
Here is a close up of the snowflake.
Snowflake recipe:
Bermuda Bay 1 large snowflake
Silver glimmer card 1 large snowflake
Silver embossed medium snowflake
Pool party embossed small snowflake
Silver glimmer brad in centre.
And the back of the card where you can write a message.
Another walk in Girraween National Park.
Well I did promise another walk didn't I? This time we will go to the Underground Creek. Let's get going shall we.
This part of the bush has a lot of banksia bushes growing.
And some pretty flowers too. See these purple ones.
Don't lag behind.
Finally we are here. But where is the underground creek?
Lets go searching to see if we can find it. Can you spot Clem on this rock? He is there.
Just to give you an idea of the size of these boulders.
I think we have found the underground creek. Down in this crevice.
You can't see much it is so dark down there and very cool, like being in a fridge.
Must be time to head back now.
Check out the wattle growing here.
I think we are being watched.
Hope you enjoyed this walk today and I haven't tired you out too much. hehe.
I will be back again soon to share some more cards.
Thank you so much for visiting. Love hearing from you. Vx
First: great cards and super idea for the detachable ornament! I will use this idea (if time permits) maybe for my event tomorrow (Wednesday) night.... time will tell if I find the time! LOL
ReplyDeleteSecond: WOW the scenery is just ... no words strong enough.... fabulous !?! "Wish I was there" - this looks awesome (but probably dangerous too... just a little?)
Looks like you had a great day and walk!
