Happy Birthday. Happy Anniversary.

I have had both a special birthday and Anniversary card to make in the past few weeks. Come and see what I made.
I started with making some paper flowers using the Floral Fusion Sizzlit.( I so hope they never discontinue this sizzlit!!!)

A Smoky Slate and a Cherry Cobbler flower.
Flower Recipe: Floral Fusion Sizzlit - 3 flowers of varying sizes.
Spritz the three flowers first with some water then scrunch them up and curl them inwards. Dry with heat gun if impatient. Layer them on top of each other with a glue dot and add a diamante for good measure.

I embossed the Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock with the Beautiful Baroque Embossing Folder and then lightly ran my white ink pad over the top. The bottom piece is the Delicate Designs Emboss Folder.

I used the new Deco Labels Framelit too which I absolutely love by the way.

Seeing as I had made two extra flowers that weren't used I thought they would look pretty on the birthday card I was making.

This card had a vintage feel to it. Using the retired Tea Shoppe Stamp set and a doily for the background.
I stamped the tea cup twice. Once in Primrose Petals ink which I cut out in full and once in Cherry Cobbler ink. I then cut the flowers from the Cherry Cobbler tea cup and glued them onto the Primrose Petals cup.
Nice.
All finished off with a Pistachio Pudding Embossed background and Smoky Slate Cardstock. These cards did take some time to make but I am really pleased with the way they turned out.
Thanks for dropping by and for leaving such nice comments too. I love hearing from you.
Until next time. Vx
