The Secret to a SECRET GARDEN

I saw a brilliant card by Karen Barber using the White Craft Ink Technique. It gives the flowers a beautiful watercolour opaque look.
Once I started I couldn't seem to stop making them.

Isn't this pretty?
One special tip I will give you is that if you are embossing you should always use your Stampin Up Embossing Buddy FIRST! on the cardstock.
Or else you get little white embossed patches where you don't want them... like on this next card. LOL.

How about this lovely blue card I did?

Here is a close up of the Delicate Details Lace Tape p. 3 of the Seasonal Mini.
This stuff is awesome! I love it! So easy to use.

You get two different styles in the pack too.
Have you noticed I used diamantes on the blue card and pearls on the more mustard card but left the crumbcake card plain. Just to show you the different effects.

I hope you liked these cards as much as I enjoyed making them.
Come back next week and I will explain the technique to you.

  2. Boy do great minds think alike Vicki. I too have been using the lace tape on my cards lately and I have Karen's card in my favourites to try too. They are so pretty but I do like the crumb cake version the most. I have tried the white embossing on it before.
