Blooming with Kindness
I just love the stamp set Blooming with Kindness
It is such a versatile set with so many sentiments and a brilliant flower that always stamps well.
This week I needed a get well card for a special friend.
Her favourite colour is orange so I think I did well with the colour choice. I felt it needed something special for the centre of the flowers and so I decided to use gold brads. What do you think?
I used some vellum butterflies to add interest. These were stamped in black stazon with the papillion potpourri stamp set and punched out with the Bitty Butterfly Punch. Pearls added to the centres of the butterflies are coloured with an orange sharpie.
I also had a birthday card to make this week so out came the lovely Blooming with Kindness stamp set again.
This time I used Regal Rose and Calypso Coral with touches of Rose Red and Pretty in Pink.
Some rose red brads for the flower centres and diamantes for the butterflies.
And that is two cards done! So easy with Blooming with Kindness!
Would you like to know how I added the two tone colours to these flowers???
Ink up your flower with lighter colour choice then use a darker coloured marked on top to add the darker highlights.
Please leave a comment I love hearing from you.
