Pinwheel tutorial

Hey everyone. Do you remember the pinwheel from this card?
Well I did promise you a quick tutorial to refresh everyone's memory on how to make pinwheels.
So here it is a quick Pinwheel Demonstration for you.
Take a square of designer paper. Mine is 5cm x 5cm. I have drawn on this piece to show you where you need to cut. Don't cut all the way to the centre. The circle is to show you where to stop (approx.).

I just fold my square in half diagonally one way, then the other to get my lines.
Then cut up the lines - but not all the way - or you will just get four little triangles! LOL!
Now place a glue dot or some snail in the centre and bring the right hand corner of each triangle in the centre as shown.
When you have got them all down you can place something pretty in the centre.
Here are a few more "Centre" ideas.
Pearls, Diamantes, Flower Dahlias, Punched shapes, Buttons, Brads.
Now here is a "Bonus" Idea!!
Want to save even more time????
How about using this pinwheel Paper in Tea for Two Designer Paper in the new Seasonal Mini.
Can you see all the lovely squares and triangles already marked for cutting out?
Then just make your pinwheel as before.
How easy is that!
I expect to see lots of pinwheels floating around in blog land now. hehe.  Have fun.
Please leave a comment if this was helpful. I love hearing from you.
