Simple Chalkboard
Have you seen all the Chalkboard Cards around lately?
We did one in class last week. Come and have a look.
The chalkboard technique is itself very easy.
First stamp your image. I used versamark then embossed with white embossing powder. Don't worry if it isn't perfect as that is how chalkboards are anyway.
Next use some white craft ink on a sponge and lightly sponge around and over the cardstock. If it is too inky you can smudge or wipe it off with the other side of the sponge.
Then use a white pencil, mine is a white charcoal pencil from an art store, to draw a frame around your picture.
I added some banners to my card as well to showcase some more saleabration goodies and the lovely new designer builder brads from the new seasonal mini.
And just for fun... here is another one I did in a different colour.
