Paper Players Sympathy

This week the Paper Players challenge was a Sympathy card and as I haven't done a challenge in a good while I thought I would have a go so to speak.
Come and have a look what I came up with ....
I have used Sahara Sand, soft suede, Lucky Limeade and Shimmery White Cardstock.
I created a wash over my Shimmery White main piece by wetting the cardstock with a spray mister and then using my aqua painter dipped in a tiny drop of pretty in pink ink. Then at the bottom I washed the cardstock in certain celery ink . I really loved the effect.
Once dried with the heat gun (cause I have no patience hehe.) I stamped the stunning flower from Blooming with Kindness p.87 in lucky limeade ink and using my soft suede marker randomly coloured in parts of the flower before stamping the image in the bottom corner.

I ran this piece through the big shot with my fancy fan embossing folder.
Finally I added my With Sympathy from Loving Thoughts p.137 and finished it off with some "Ann Schach" flair of a row of pearls! (if you haven't visited Ann's blog yet this woman is a master of embellishment especially with pearls!!

Please leave a comment if you like my card today and come back next week for some extra special "Lovin'". Yep it's time to dust off all your heart punches and paper and check out my Valentine's Day cards. hehe.
Hope to see you then. Vx
