Ornament Bundle

Featuring: Hang an Ornament


HAPPY WEDNESDAY WONDERS!!!

I know I seem to be " hanging" on the Hang an Ornament Bundle (see what I did there? lol.)

But this little unassuming set has a lot of potential I think.

12cm x 12cm card. whisper white.

Petunia Pop Border. 10.5cm x 10.5cm

Basic Beige. 10cm x 10cm.

So today I decided to make my own background.

Using Basic Beige cardstock

I used Shaded Spruce, Berry Burst and Coastal Cabana ink.

Once I added the pine needle and holly and berries around I felt I needed a little something extra so I used the stars from the Reindeer Fun  set.

Then came the ornaments. I really wanted fun non traditional colours so I went with Petunia Pop, Boho Blue and Shy Shamrock ( or you can subsitute with Bermuda Bay).

I stamped on white cardstock and punched out with a circle punch 2 inch.

Then I used the ornament die and cut out coordinating glimmer card that I had in my stash. Just looking for colours that were similar. Pink, Blue, Green. This adds a little sparkle around the edges of the ornaments.

I stamped the All is Merry in Early Expresso and added a gold bow to each with a glue dot.

and I know you are all asking  "but what about those adorable little gingerbread men???"

Sorry they are non-SU and were in a set of  christmas dies I just happened to have. I couldn't resist using them.  I don't know the name of the set.
