Sit Stay Relax Pop out Bendy Fun Fold

Featuring: Sit Stay Relax Hostess stamp set, Gatefold Pop Out Bendy Fun Fold, Enchanting Details dies, Fathers Day, Stampin Up 2022

HAPPY WEDNESDAY WONDERS!!!
Have you ever checked out the Hostess sets on the back page of the Annual Catalogue p.179 ???
I loved the Sit Stay Relax Stamp set and thought it would be a good fit for a Fathers Day Card this year.
The Pop Out Bendy Fun Fold idea was from a card I saw from Sue Camperfield. You open the card then push out the centre fold and the Bendy piece on the front pops out. The extra piece on the front of the Bendy strip helps to give it a bit of a wiggle. So it jiggles around a little. I have included a few measurements and directions in the photos below.

Gatefold Card Open
Gatefold Card closed.
Using Pumpkin Pie Card base
Retired designer paper
Retired Fathers Day stamp
Night of Navy Belly Band
(little dog is hand cut from the Sit Stay Relax stamp)

I wanted the dog to look a bit like our dog so left it white and just coloured a couple of black spots on it with a pen.The chair is stamped in Pumpkin Pie and fussy cut.
I actually stamped it twice so I could cut the little dog out and raise it up on the chair.
The other eleements are from the Enchanting Details dies in the Annual Catalogue.p.171
GATEFOLD CARD: 15cm x 10.5cm
Fold card in half to get your centre score line. Fully open and then fold each side into the centre fold. It is okay if there is a little gap. Just get it close without overlapping.
Crease well with a bone folder.
MEASUREMENTS FOR THE BENDY STRIP. You can have the pieces over or under the designer paper.

MEASUREMENTS FOR LITTLE EXTENDER PIECE THAT GIVES IT A LITTLE WOBBLE FEATURE. You can leave this extender piece out if you like. I have done cards with and without and they look good either way.

I stamped another chair with the dog but didn't want the dog. I stamped a greeting on whisper white and punched out with a circle punch. Then cut it down to fit on the top half of the chair to cover the dog. Clever hey! haha. (the things we do!)
I loved using the Enchanting details dies for elements inside. They were quick to create using Crumbcake and Evening Evergreen cardstock.

HAVE A GREAT WEEK . VX

A few photos from a trip into Brisbane City the other day.

The Shingle Inn resides inside the City Hall. It is Brisbanes oldest cafe established in 1936 in Edward Street. It was closed due to redevelopment in 2002 and the interior was dismantled and put into storage until 2010 when it moved to the City Hall. As a young girl, (a long time ago!)working just up the road from Edward Street, I was often sent there to purchase the birthday cakes for staff members. Sand Cake was a favourite.
