Tea Bag Holder.

Featuring: Hues of Happiness designer paper, Tea Bag Holder, Gift box, Stampin Up 2022

HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!!
I made a little tea bag holder using the pretty Hues of Happiness designer paper. I have been making quite a few cards with this paper and thought a little gift bag would go nicely.

DIRECTIONS FOR TEA BAG HOLDER (in metric only)
One piece of cardstock 7.5cm x 29 cm.
Score at:
8.5cm, 11cm, 19.5cm, 20 cm, 26cm

Designer paper:
7cm x 8 cm ( 2 pieces for the front and back)
7cm x 5 cm (for the top flap at the front) Glue this on before folding the last piece 26cm - 29cm up.

note: the last score line is at 26cm which creates a 3cm piece at the end.
That is the white piece you can see on the photo.
It is folded up at the front and you can decorate it with a greeting or a scallop edge or another image (as shown) if you like. And punch a hole for your ribbon through it.
You glue your designer paper on to the piece under it first then glue it down on top and punch a hole through the layers.

Now this is the tricky bit LOL! :
CONCERTINA SIDES:
2  pieces of cardstock 7cm x 10cm
Score at 1cm increments along the 10 cm edge.
Fold starting with Mountain fold
ΛΛΛΛΛ ← this outer flap on both ends will be where you adhere to the insides of your tea box.
Attach with flaps at either end. Adhere close to score line at bottom of the box.

Ribbon (I have used Fresh Freesia Open Weave ribbon) 45cm - 50 cm
Thread ribbon from Under the flap through the punched hole to the top. Only thread through about 10 cm, Leaving the rest hanging down.
Then take that longer length and wrap around from bottom, around the back, to top and over to the front. Adjust ribbon to length and tie a bow at front.

This little Tea bag holder will hold at least four tea bags. A nice little gift for your tea loving friends.

Have a great week! Vx
