Birdhouse Friendly Hello

HAPPY WEDNESDAY WONDERS!!!

I know Saleabration is now over for a few months....there will be another later in the year. Yay!

But I just had to show you the little birdhouse card I made using A Friendly Hello Stamp Set.

The good news is if you want to make one similar, Stampin Up have a couple of bird sets in the Annual Catalogue p.83 and p.108 that could work with this design.

I have used Cinnamon Cider Card Base. Heart and Home designer paper. I stamped flowers on the bottom of the paper and coloured them with a sponge dauber and ink for a soft look to the design. 

Bird is stamped, cut and coloured.

The little die cut circle is a window.

Such a fun fold and so easy to do.

Start with a 10cm (4in) x 29.5cm (11 1/2in) card base

Fold in half.

Mark the centre point with a pencil mark. 5cm(2in)

Either side of your centre fold - on the outside edges of your card - measure down 4cm(1in) and mark with a pencil

Using a scoring tool - score lines from each of the 4cm (1in) points to the centre fold middle point. 

Those four score lines need to be Valley folds and the centre is two Mountain folds.

Unfortunately the photos don't really show the directions of the folds very well.

A bit of a trick to the light. They could appear to be going in either direction. 

But if you remember you are wanting a pointed Roof shape and push the two centre folds in you will get it right.
