In the Meadow Acrylic block background
In The Meadow Stamp set, Meadow dies, Acrylic block background technique, Stampin Up Catalogue 2021
HAPPY WEDNESDAY WONDERS!!
Todays card started with a watercolour background using the Acrylic Block technique.
You stamp your ink pad directly onto a large acrylic block. Spritz with water and stamp onto White cardstock.
I did this twice.
First with Mint Macaron ink pad.
Then with Polished Pink Ink pad.
Dry with a heat tool if you are impatient like me. lol.
Then I stamped my flower image in black and two background images from the stamp set . The ink splotches in Mint Macaron and the typed print in Polished Pink.
I coloured the flowers with Light Melon Mambo as I don't have the Polished Pink Blender pens yet.
I decided it needed some more "pop" so I stamped the flowers again on scrap and layered them over the others for a 3D look. I also added an Evening Evergreen leaf die cut from the Meadow dies.
Mint Macaron Base card
Layers- white, Polished Pink, Mint Macaron and Evening Evergreen. (Tasteful Textile Emboss folder)
Inside of card. I did not add a greeting as I am not sure who I am sending this to yet.
Added some gold glitter. Because everything needs some 'sparkle'🌟
A little walk at Queen Mary Falls.
Have a great week. Vx
