Sand and Sea Z fold card

Oh I do like to be beside the seaside

I do like to be beside the sea....

This Sand and Sea Suite, p.41 Occasions Catalogue 2021, will have you singing those songs of the sea.

This card features nearly everything available in the suite and it was so much fun.

There is a special magic when you place your die cut piece into the embossing folder and then see it transform into this beautiful 3D image.

I will take you through what I have used.

First up I went with Blushing Bride as my base cardstock for the Z fold card.

This card is cut lengthways on your A4 cardstock. Fold in half and then fold the front piece back on itself to create your Z.

Front piece is Blushing Bride Foil (from the Love you Always Foil Sheets p.11 Occasions 2021)

11.5cm x 8 cm

White background is embossed with Seashell EF - 11cm x 7.5cm

For you  and Friends are like Seashells (inside) are both stamped in Melon Mambo ink.

The die was cut with Pearlescent paper from the Sand and Sea Suite p.41.

It gives a beautiful shimmer effect to the shells.

After embossing with the embossing folder I used two ink colours.

Flirty Flamingo and So Saffron to sponge my sea shells.

I used sponge daubers in a circular motion across them but any sponge should work.

I cut the shell die cut in half to use them on both the front and back piece.

Both front (10cm x 7 cm) and back (14.5cm x 10cm) pieces of designer paper are from the Sand and Sea designer series paper.

There is a white piece in the centre section (6.5cm x 10 cm) to write your greeting on if you choose.
