Sweet Pop Up Strawberry Card

HAPPY WEDNESDAY WONDERS!!!

When I saw the Berry Delightful designer paper in the Saleabration 2021 brochure...I just knew I wanted to showcase that Berry Beautiful Paper💖

So I created a card with a pop up feature inside.

And the big news is there is hardly any stamping involved!

Card Base: Blushing Bride

Garden Green and Whisper White mats.

Except for the Strawberry Stalks that I stamped and punched out in Garden Green. 

The leaves, flowers and strawberries all come from the Berry Delightful designer paper!!! AWESOME!

I used a whisper white belly band embossed with the Tin Tile 3D Emboss Folder to hold the card closed.

When you open it flat a little box pops up filled with strawberries, leaves and flowers.

The box is a trick of the eye.

It is a piece of designer paper. Cut 24cm x 5 cm.

Scored at 7.5, 11.5, 19, 23. Then 1cm piece at the end folds over and attachs to the other end. To create a rectangle box with no top or bottom.

Score along the 5cm length at 1 cm. The becomes a flap to tuck under the whisper white card stock.

You have to cut off the short 4cm sections so there is only a flap at the front and back of your box.

The little triangles are just a 6cm x 6cm square cut diagonally and attached close to your box.

When you fold the card in half the sides of your box will fold inwards. You may need to "help" them the first time.

Then you can decorate in and around the box.

I used a large circle in Garden Green and some pretty designer paper from Berry Delightful in a slightly smaller circle at the back of my box.

I layered my strawberries, flowers and leaves around the greeting which I recommend you position first.
