Poinsettia Gatefold Ornament Christmas Card

HAPPY WEDNESDAY WONDERS!

I have seen a few gatefold cards using this design idea for a closure. 

I thought wouldn't it be great if the front piece could also double as an ornament for the Christmas Tree?

So I did a few modifications and came up with this little Country Christmas card and ornament set.

Card Base: Early Expresso,

Coordinating card: Soft Seafoam, Old Olive (inside)

Inside I have created a lovely scene with In the Pines and Snowfront stamps.

(pine needles in top corner are from the Poinsettial Petals stamp set).

I used a large circle to mask the card and just sponged in Pool Party to create the background.

Ornament is two large circles one white (at back) and one Gold foil card.

In between these two circles I have some dimensionals that slide down the middle of the card. I actually used Foam Adhesive Strips for this, so they aren't two wide and they are a little bit thicker.

Then I layered Soft Seafoam and Gold Glimmer card and the Poinsettia.

Poinsettia is stamped in versamark and embossed with gold embossing powder. Then coloured with Old Olive Blender pens.

Snowflake Splendour ribbon has been used to hang the ornament.
