Gnome Surprise

Happy Wednesday Wonders!

Gnome for the Holidays was the very first stamp set I bought in the New August-December 2020 Mini Catalogue and boy is it sooooo cute!

I had fun stamping and fussy cutting the images and colouring them with my Stampin Blends.

Did you love reading fairy stories when you were a child?

I can't help but make up a little story with this stamp set.

So here we have Neil and Noddy McGnome visiting their little friend in the forest and bringing along some Christmas Cheer.

I hand cut the little door so it could open....because we all want a peek inside don't we!? :)

And little Mr. Freddie the Field mouse is inside welcoming his friends. lol. (mouse from Special Someone stamp set p.93 main catalogue)

In the Gnome for the Holidays stamp set, there is a stamp of a lady gnome wearing a Christmas tree hat, which I cut out and used as the Christmas Tree in the card and also as a small hat for Freddie on the inside of the card.

And here is Freddie the Field mouse all ready for Christmas after his friends visit.

Home Together dies p. 26 and Pine Woods dies p.43 both feature the rolling hills background dies which would work perfectly for this card...or you can hand cut your own. 

Cardstock colours: Pool Party, Old Olive, Garden Green.

Also the cute snowflakes are p. 29 - snowflake adhesive-backed embellishments.
