Free as a Bird Corner Pop Up
Featuring: Free as a Bird stamp set, Bird Ballad designer Paper, Corner Pop Up Fold, Special Fold, Stampin Up
Happy Wednesday Wonders!
I really love the Bird Ballad designer paper and wanted to have a card that showed it off.
The Corner Pop Up Fold worked well for this.
I have to admit that the new Terracotta Tile In colour is not one of my favourites. However I like a challenge so decided I needed to use it and show it off.
You know what?
It is growing on me!
I think I like it now I have made a card with it. haha.
Don't you think it is pretty?
The inside corner section folds down so it opens out into a little corner card.
I did quite a bit of fussy cutting with flowers, birds and feathers from the designer paper and only added one stamped bird image from the stamp set. (and a terracotta tile butterfly - because I found it lying on my craft table....haha. )
Here are a few brief instructions to help you make one of your own.
TIP:
I always make a practice one using old cardstock first before trying a new fold. This saves me wasting my good cardstock and paper on "mistakes" and "learning curves".
