Floral Romance in Green.

Featuring: Wonderful Romance Stamp Set, Wonderful Floral Framelits dies, Butterfly Gala Stamp and punch, Stampin Up

Welcome to Wednesday Wonders!

Today it is all about Wonderful Romance Stamp Set and matching Framelits.

When I first saw this stamp I immediately thought it reminded me of the Australian Bush flowers and leaves.

So my first card with it I wanted to reflect those bush colours.
I stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with Copper Embossing Powder.
Then I coloured the image with my Aqua painter and ink from our ink pads.
Old Olive and Crumbcake were my main colours.
I used the framelits to cut the leaves in copper metallic cardstock and added a butterfly in Mossy Meadow from Butterfly Gala stamp set.
The Lattice down the side is a Framelit die...isn't it lovely!!

I liked the card so much I decided to replicate it .
But this time I used slightly stronger colours with our Stampin Blends.
Old Olive in light and dark shades and Calypso Coral and Smokey Slate.

See the colour changing leaves? They look like that because I used the special Grapefruit Grove Foil Sheet from Saleabration.
The Stampin Blends tend to 'bleed through the cardstock' so I used some Floral Romance designer paper on the inside to cover it.
Looks good I think.

Rosie enjoying a bit of sun even on the brown dry grass.

Didn't have a photo of a butterfly but I did get this grasshopper last week well camouflaged I nearly missed him. Blending in well with his environment.
