Hearts come Home cards

This is what I call an 'organic card'. It starts with an idea or an element and I just keep adding or subtracting until I think it is finished. haha. Do you ever start a card that way???

This card all started with the silver embossed branches on the black and white Merry Music designer paper...
then I had to think of what to put with it....lol.

Hometown greetings edgelits seemed to work beautifully
The words at the bottom are actually just cut from the Merry Music Specialty paper too.

The card base is Old Olive and black matt with Merry Little Christmas dsp.

 I placed silver card behind the church and house so it looks like lights shining through when the light hits it. So Pretty.

Do you like the gold card embossed with the  Softly Falling embosssing folder?

 I went a bit crazy with the Gold Metallic Shapes but I do love them as an accent.
And the Snowflakes from Swirly Snowflake thinlets. Trees from Card Front Builder Thinlets.

We were in New Zealand just over a week ago.
 It is Spring so of course there were little lambs and calves everywhere.
I loved all the green rolling hills.
We visited Hobbiton on our travels around and these photos were all taken there. Such fun!

 The view from the top of Hill where Bilbo Baggins lives.
We walked all around, There were lots of Hobbit Homes and gardens and over in the distance was the Green Dragon Inn where we had refreshments after our tour.
