Christmas Card Box

Hello again,
The other day I showed you all the cards I made with the Merry Little Christmas Simply Created Card Kit.
So today I thought you might like to see how I packaged them up for my hostess.
This neat little card box can hold 5 cards and envelopes.  Here is a close up of the white embossed poinsettia flowers and the belly band.
I have used one sheet of A4 Real Red Cardstock to make my box.
Old Olive and some Season of Style dsp.
Old Olive ribbon and an embossed poinsettia cut down with a Frosted finish embellishment in the centre.
You slip the belly band off to open it.
Here is an aerial view.
Then we open it to reveal the cards and envelopes inside.
Can you see how there is a flap at both ends to hold the cards and envelopes in place.Would you like the easy peasey measurements?

Here is a picture of what it looks like ready to be put together.
I used an A4 piece of cardstock.
For Australian standard size cards and envelopes.
Score across the full length at 1cm, 2cm, 14cm, 15.5cm, 27.5cm, 28.5cm.

Then turn and score at 16.5 cm, 18cm
Now cut out the bits as indicated and fold up. The two outside edges fold under the bottom flap. I used sticky strip to hold it together.

For the Simply Created Card kit I shortened the length as the US have a slightly different card size to us.
So instead of 16.5cm, 18cm
I scored 15cm, 16.5cm.

I hope you liked this easy card box, They would make great gift ideas for Christmas. Which is fast approaching by the way!!!

I have another decorated box to show you next week so be sure to pop in.
Until then. Vx
