A special card today for you.  The Floating Pop Up Card.

FLOATING POP UP CARD MEASUREMENTS – Vicki Hodgman

METRIC

 

Card Base – 14.5cm x 14.5cm

3 designer paper pieces – 14cm x 14cm

 

Pop Up Columns inside – 

2 x 2.5cm x 29.5cm

Score at 2.5cm, 13.5cm, 16cm, 27cm, 29.5cm

2 x Designer paper to decorate front and top of both columns

2.3cm x 10.5cm (2 pieces)

2.3cm x 2.3cm (2 pieces)

 

Pop up Centre –

1 x 8cm x 16cm

Score at 3cm, 6cm, 9cm, 12 cm

1 x designer paper to decorate front

2.7cm x 7.5cm

 

Circle dies –

Circle Die 7cm to cut out centre of card

You will use this circle to put on your centre pop up piece

You can decorate this circle with your greeting/ large birthday numbers or images

It will be seen in from the outside of your card but will be  attached on the inside.

 

Circle mat – 

Use a slightly larger circle die 8cm as a border for your circle.

 

 

Outside of card – if you wish you can place a strip across the front with your greeting or add a smaller circle onto the strip for the greeting (explained in video)

 

Strip 1.5cm x 14cm

Circle – 5cm (2”) punch or die

2 x   1” x 11 5/8”

Score at 1”, 5 3/8” 6 3/8”, 10 5/8”, 11 5/8”

2 x   Designer paper to decorate front and top of both columns

7/8” x 4 1/8” (2 pieces)

7/8” x 7/8” (2 pieces)

 

Pop up Centre –

1  x  6 ¼” x 3 ¼”

Score at 1 ¼”, 2 ½”, 3 ¾”, 5”

1 x designer paper to decorate front

1 1/8” x 3”

 

Circle dies –

Circle Die2 ¾” to cut out centre of card

You will use this circle to put on your centre pop up piece

You can decorate this circle with your greeting/ large birthday numbers or images

It will be seen from the outside of your card through the centre hole you have cut out but will be  attached on the inside.
