HAPPY WEDNESDAY WONDERS!

Now here is an interesting card I designed.

My idea was a box on the front of the card with paper flowers popping out of it.

A box full of flowers!

The gift box and lid are attached to pieces of white card that have been scored on the sides to lift the box off the card and giving it a 3D effect.

The best bit...it folds flat for posting.

I had to add a small extra extension to the box at the bottom, so it wouldn't topple over. 

Base card - Lemon Lime Twist,

Gorgeous Gingham designer paper for the background and the box.

White silver edged ribbon for the box.

Flower colours used (from Paper Florist Dies) 

Berry Burst,

Granny Apple Green

Pretty Peacock

Blueberry Bushel

Azure Afternoon

Lemon Lolly

These colours were a challenge for me but I liked how it turned out in the end.

It is good to challenge ourselves at times I think.
