HAPPY WEDNESDAY WONDERS
And today have I got a super fun punch art project for YOU!
Card Base _ Misty Moonlight
Designer Paper used Flowers for Every Season and In Colours 2020.

When I first got the Umbrella Builder Punch (p.167 main catalogue), I knew I wanted to try a Mary Poppins style card.
I started by designing Mary Poppins.
I worked from her hat down. lol.

Here are the punches I used for her.

The circle punch and itty bitty flowers are retired punches.
But you can substitute these with other similar punches or dies.
The two tiny white flowers on her hat are actually from Special Day die set(p.182 main catalogue).
Cardstock was Basic Black unless mentioned.

Umbrella - Umbrella Builder Punch - Parrot handle - Half a small heart and hand drawn and coloured and cut. (you could leave out this if you wanted)
Her Hat:Jar punch (bottom) and 7mm x 4cm black strip for brim.
Hair and Head: 1 3/8th inch circle punch in Petal Pink and Cinnamon Cider. Eyes hand drawn
Bodice and arms: Tailored Tag punch. cut in half. Arms are just cut down sides of one half of Tailored Tag.
Hands: White -I used a flower punch but you could use a small circle too.
Skirt: Jar Punch in Basic Grey. Umbrella Punch -black(folded umbrella x 2) cut in half for each side. (trim any excess jar punch)
Carpet Bag: Jar Punch - Cajun Craze -cut down to 3cm. Trim sides. Make a handle using a small circle and then one slightly larger. Cut in half.
Add flowers - my colours Bumblebee and Shaded Spruce. You could stamp flowers on too if you wanted.

I printed "Practically Perfect In Every Way" and "Spit Spot" in a Word document on my computer and printed it out on Whisper White cardstock. Then cut them out and attached them onto my card.

I Made a Bridge Fold Card to display my punch art Mary Poppins.
This is 21cm x 15cm.
In Misty Moonlight.
Scored at 3cm, 6cm, 15cm, 18cm.
The Bridge is 3cm x 14.8cm and is attached at the two floral 3cm ends.

For the Background and Foreground I have kept it fairly simple.
Using a Window and small clouds from retired die sets and I created some clouds for a piece in front of her.
These clouds are made just by cutting/punching out various size circles from 2 1/2" - 1 1/2" and layering them onto a strip 3.5cm x 12 cm. Score the strip at 1.5cm and 10.5cm.
layer your circles overlapping one another between the two score marks.
Trim any that over hang at the bottom of your strip.
Attach to the inside of your card at the 1.5cm and 10.5cm ends.

It is a bit dark but hopefully you can see where my cloud strip is sitting inside the card.

On the back of the card.

The card folds to the right. (so the left side folds in and the right side folds out)
