Springtime Impressions when it is Winter here.

Featuring: Springtime Impressions thinlits, Petal Pair Embossing folder, Stampin Up, Sponge Dauber colouring.


Well it may be the middle of Winter here but this card is certainly reminding me of Springtime.

I purchased the Springtime Impressions Thinlits because I could see they had so many possibilities. And best of all they are stand alone pieces. Meaning they can just be stuck onto a card and shine all by themselves.

Here is the floral piece cut in plain white cardstock on Mint Macaron.
Too Easy!

But then if you want to do a bit of colouring...I just used Sponge Daubers.
Colours used:

 Lovely Lipstick, Granny Green Apple, Shaded Spruce, Balmy Blue, Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather.

                                           TaDa!

 The card has a diagonal front and the butterfly sits on the inside with the wing holding the front piece shut until you lift it up.

I embossed the white cardstock on the front of the card and the Gorgeous Grape on the inside with the Petal Pair Embossing Folder.

Springtime dreaming...sigh.
